Family Matters! Don Van Kannel welcomed his son Dan into the world back in 1980, and is now proud to welcome
him into the family restoration business! Joining his uncle, Martin Van Kannel
and his dad is exciting for all. Dan has inherent artistic qualities necessary to the process of mastering the art of vintage
sign restoration. He has studied the techniques of both his dad and uncle, and brings his own fresh style to the team! Van Kannel Sign Restoration
is recognized in the industry as providing the finest, museum-quality, vintage & collectible sign restorations. With more
than 40 years combined experience, brothers Don & Martin Van Kannel will work with you in the restoration process of your
"priceless" gasoline, petroleum or any product advertising sign.
The Van
Kannel's have combined their love of the art of sign restoration with a laid-back lifestyle, which includes some family farming,
"general store" constructing and just mingling with the locals. Located in the lovely countryside of Loris, South
Carolina, Don & Martin have mastered techniques in porcelain, enamal, metal & tin restoration & refinishing.
